Now is the time to order Holiday Cards.  Sending holiday cards is a great way for businesses to promote company loyalty by staying in touch with associates, customers and business partners.  For personal use, Christmas cards are welcomed each year by friends and family you may not often see. You can race around town and buy these greetings at retail but they won’t be personalized.  Avoid the shopping hassle and purchase top quality personalized holiday greetings by placing your order online.   Here are six reasons why ordering your custom imprinted cards online makes sense.

Money Saving- By ordering online you are receiving bulk discounts on your holiday cards.  You save money by buying large quantities as opposed to the price of individually boxed cards in small quantities at retail.  By ordering online you can get personalized cards for less than those you would buy without your imprinted name at retail.

Holiday Photo Cards

Personalized- Online greeting cards come with custom imprinted verses and personalization, which make them much nicer than the regular non-personalized cards you buy at retail.  For businesses especially, personalized holiday cards send a professional wish for the season that lets everyone know your business is doing well and prospering.  By browsing selections online you can let everyone in the office (or those whose opinion you value), help in the selection process.

Custom Printed- Cards ordered online normally come with personalization but some sites even allow you to select or even create the perfect sentiment yourself.  One site, CardsDirect.com even lets you specify the message you want printed on the front of some card Cambridge Website Designs.  Maybe you like the Cambridge Website Design but would rather say “Happy Holidays” than “Merry Christmas”.  You may also consider selecting a front imprint or die cut card that allows your company name or logo to be clearly seen on the front of the card.  Photo cards are especially great for one of-a-kind greetings for corporate or personal use.

Easy Ordering- Nothing could be easier than browsing thousands of card Cambridge Website Designs online.  Categorized to help narrow the selection process, viewing Cambridge Website Designs online is much easier than raking through stacks and stacks of boxed cards at retail.  You pick the Cambridge Website Design then select the verse or message you want printed.  Real time proofing lets you select the font style, type size and color and have a quick look so that you will know exactly what you will be receiving before you have to place your final order.

Personalized Holiday Cards

Time Saver- There is no more running all over town to find the perfect holidays cards.  And if you need them personalized, you have to make several trips back to the store to approve proofs and pick up the finished cards.  By ordering Christmas cards online, you are saving time as well as gas, not to mention the luxury of selecting your cards from the home or the office.  A good website will have plenty of customer service help available as well and you can’t always say that about retail stores, especially during the busy holiday season.

Earth Friendly- Recycled cards are increasing in popularity.  If ordered online, you are taking another additional step

Managing Your Business from Home

Having an Internet business can be all that you ever dreamed it would be. You can be successful, feel liberated, and enjoy a stress-free commute simply by walking from the kitchen to your office with your cup of coffee in hand and still wearing your pajamas. On the other hand, it can be very stressful if you’re having a difficult time managing your business from home. One of the biggest pitfalls many people face when trying to manage their business from home is distractions. It’s far too easy to take that personal phone call and chat away the hour or invite your friend in when they pop over and spend the afternoon catching up. The idea that you have no boss looking over your shoulder or checking your time card can make the temptation to slack off too great to resist for some people. Here are a couple tips on how to successfully manage your home-based business. First you must be firm with friends and family. You need to make them understand that even though your business is at home, you’re still working. Explaining to them that your business is no different than any brick-and-mortar business with the exception of the fact that it’s at your home should get the point across. However, if you have young children this may be a bit more difficult for them to understand. Next, set a work schedule for yourself. This will help you keep from overworking yourself and also allow for you to spend time with family and friends, too. You can also provide your schedule to family and friends to help them avoid distracting you while you’re working. Last, let’s cover communication with business associates and customers. You’ll want to be able to keep in contact with them, but there have to be guidelines in place for them, too. On your website you can clearly post methods of contact. If telephone is one of them you’ll want to set reasonable hours. If need be, get a second phone line and have the calls forwarded to your voice mail after your regular working hours. This will prevent you from having to listen to the phone ring all evening long and help you avoid the temptation of taking that extra call that will cut into your personal time. By maintaining a good balance, you can manage to run a successful business from your home. Having a marketing plan and a business plan is essential to your success in any business.  In internet marketing there are a lot of day to day tasks that must be done in order to achieve your monetary goals.  This is why it is important to create a daily marketing plan in writing.  You want something to keep you on track everyday.   Next to my computer I keep a notebook which has a list of the tasks I must complete everyday.  Yours might look like this:

  • Make 10 hacker forum postings on hacker forum A, B, & C
  • Write 2 articles and submit to article website A, B, & C
  • Make 1 blog posting.
  • The list should go on like this one.  The specific tasks may depend on your particular target market but these are just some common actions to complete in internet marketing.  This is almost like a daily marketing to do list.  As you complete each item on the list you can cross it out and move on to the next action.   Having this plan in writing is very helpful because it keeps your plan in tact and keeps you on track with your plan.  It’s easy to miss things when it’s not written on a detailed list in front of you.  Your success in internet marketing relies on your ability to follow through with these kinds of activities.  It is of the utmost importance that you get these tasks done.   As you do your everyday marketing tasks your efforts build on top of each other day by day increasing traffic to your site.  Since it’s a gradual process you need to keep on track with your plan.  Missing a few things here and there will make a difference in the long run.   This is how I am successful and keeping myself on a strict plan to market my business.  You are sure to see results if you stick to a strict plan and do each task on a consistent basis.

Your daily marketing plan should be a part of your master marketing plan for your business.  Start with your overall goal like – I want to make $50 per day.  In order to get there you will need to make X amount of sales.  In order to make X about of sales you will need Y amount of visitors.  Break down each part of your plan until you get to the individual marketing tasks that will get you there.   Another great way to help keep yourself on track is to work with a coach or a mentor who will guide you through this process.  Learn more about this and other topics on internet marketing and network marketing with my free 5 day e-course, sign up at www.mlmsuccesontheweb.com

So, you have created a blog or website and now you want to see the money rolling in courtesy of your affiliate programs or Adsense advertising. But it will not happen unless and until you are seeing significant numbers of visitors to your blog because essentially affiliate marketing is to a large extent a numbers game..the more visitors, the greater the income.

Three tremendously effective ways to generate traffic to your blog are through article marketing, social bookmarking and hacker forum commenting.

    1.    Article Marketing
Article marketing is the single most effective to drive targeted, long term traffic to your site. It may take a little time and work on your behalf but if you are serious about your online business you will invest your time or money in article marketing which simply involves writing articles about your niche or market and publishing them on well know article directories.

This has the effect of creating traffic and back links for your site and the back links will in turn help your site to rank very well in the search engines and increase the chances of getting free traffic through being found in the search engine page results for particular searches.

    2.    Social Bookmarking
Social bookmarking involves you engaging in some of the social networking sites such as Digg, Stumbleupon and Twitter which affords you the opportunity of leaving some strategically placed links back to your blog whilst interacting on these sites.

Some of the comments or entries that you post on these sites can lead to a flood of traffic to your site and again the back link that Google’s robot sees coming from these sites to your blog will increase the importance that Google places on your site which in turn will see your blog ranking highly in the search engine rankings.

In conclusion the use of article marketing and social bookmarking if used correctly and not abused will see a good, sustainable long term traffic source grow as if a stream becoming a river and will undoubtedly lead to the success of your blog provided you do not abuse either sources and engage in spam activity without providing any real value to the users of the directories or social bookmarking sites.
