PPC tips – online match making

Keyword management is one of the most difficult parts of PPC management. You have to choose the right keywords, set online match making types and also be sure not to neglect special cases like negative keywords or even misspellings words. All of this can be really stressful no matter if you are new to search marketing or been in the industry for years.
There are many ways to approach this. One is to manage your keywords effectively in order to stay with the rest of the competitors, without spending too much time and money. Try to filter your keywords by differentiating competitive keywords.
Normally your PPC account contains keywords that is very competitive or less competitive. For example, in 1 account there are a total of 1000 keywords,
100 of them is competitive and the rest is less competitive. This can be determined by many factors depending on personal preference, you can judge the keywords competitiveness by number of clicks, number of impressions, cost of the keyword or ROI.

So the question is, how can you manage your keywords effectively in order to stay with the rest of the competitors? Here is the answer, split your account into two. One account for competitive keywords and the other for less competitive keywords.
Why use this approach? The most comment mistake that people make is updating ALL their keywords frequently no matter if its competitive or not. This is not the correct strategy by using Pay Per Click for an effective result. We highly recommend you to separate your competitive and non- competitive keywords into two different accounts so that you can manage and customize each group of keywords. This way you can use different strategies for both accounts.
For example, your competitive keywords can be set in the scheduler to update every 6 hours, whereas your non-competitive keywords can be set in the scheduler to update every 24hours. As a result you can monitor how well each account of keywords is performing. By not updating your non competitive keywords as frequently you are also saving your Google API quota.
We have the right tools for you to get started! With our PPC BidMax you can optimize your account and keywords with just a few clicks.
Here are the steps you need to take:
You can do so by downloading the same account in PPC Bidmax and manage the competitive keywords in one account and the non-competitive. If you have already created an account with all your campaigns and keywords then all need to do is duplicate the same account by creating selecting “New Account”.
Once you have uploaded all the information into the software, please dedicate one account for your competitive keywords and one for your non- competitive keywords. For example you can name the file (E.g. 123compeitive keywords and 123non competitive keywords).
Go into the competitive keyword account, under the “Optimize” column tick the competitive keyword you want to update more frequently and make sure the non-competitive keywords is un-ticked. (This means only the competitive will update when you schedule it to).
You might have to do the same with the non-competitive account so that your keywords still update, but less frequently so that you do not waste your API quota.
Please don’t forget to edit your scheduler once you set the account by clicking “Edit account-> Scheduler->under the drop down button choose the time you want to frequently update per account”.
